A suspected drug dealer was arrested after being chased through Sutton town centre by police officers.
Officers were on routine patrol near Portland Square shortly after 1pm on Saturday 22 August when they spotted a man behaving suspiciously.
When officers approached and asked him to stop, the suspect fled on foot. He was pursued through the town centre towards Priestic Road before being detained near the Asda petrol station on Northern Bridge Road.
Multiple wraps containing substances believed to be cocaine and heroin were recovered nearby.
The 19-year-old suspect was arrested on suspicion of possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply.
