A prolific shop thief faces an immediate return to prison if he enters any one of a list of shops in Mansfield.
Dzintars Buageris, aged 53, has a string of convictions for offences including theft, being drunk and disorderly, and failing to comply with the terms of a previous Community Protection Notice.
His latest jail sentence, of 16 weeks, came in September this year after he admitted stealing alcohol from B&M Bargains.
Officers have now had their application for a restrictive Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) granted at Mansfield Magistrates' Court. The order, which lasts for three years, bans Buageris from entering the following locations:
- Tesco and car park, in Chesterfield Road South
- B&M and car park, in Baums Lane
- Sainsbury's and car park, in Nottingham Road
- Any branch of Greggs within the Mansfield district
Buageris, of no fixed address, is also prohibited from acting in a manner that causes nuisance, harassment, alarm or distress to anyone in Mansfield.
If he breaches the order in any way, he can be immediately returned to prison.
