A suspected drug dealer has been arrested after officers spotted a vehicle driving suspiciously in Bulwell.
Officers with the roads policing team and Broxtowe response team spotted the vehicle travelling on Cinderhill Road at 11.58pm on Sunday, 23 August.
After stopping the car, officers noticed a strong smell of cannabis coming from inside the vehicle, and upon further investigation, found evidence of cannabis use.
Upon further searching the vehicle, officers also discovered a quantity of cash, as well as packets of cocaine stashed in the roof lining.
A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class A drug (cocaine), driving without a licence, use of a motor vehicle on a road without third-party insurance, and drug driving.
The man has been released on unconditional bail pending further investigation.
