A five-million-pound expansion of the Emergency Department at King’s Mill Hospital is getting underway.
Plans include 14 extra treatment spaces, more assessment rooms and improvements to ambulance handovers.
The first phase is expected to open by the end of this year, with the full project due in 2028.
