Major road resurfacing and repair works are planned across Ashfield and Mansfield this month as part of Nottinghamshire County Council’s highways programme.
Nottinghamshire County Council and Via East Midlands have published their planned roadworks programme for September.
Five major resurfacing schemes are planned in Ashfield and Mansfield, including the A6009 Rosemary Street and A38 Stockwell Gate junction in Mansfield.
Work is also planned on Victoria Road in Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Mansfield Road and Stoneyford Road in Sutton-in-Ashfield.
Patching repairs will take place on 11 other roads, including Alfreton Road, Kingsway, Nottingham Road, Chatsworth Avenue and Wighay Road.
The work forms part of the county council’s £181.25 million Highway Capital Maintenance Programme.
Residents are being thanked for their patience, with schedules subject to change depending on weather and operational needs.
